What this website collects, what we do with it and how to reach us about it. Plain language, no surprises.
Who we are
Web Design Odessa is a web design brand run by Basin Hosting & Web Design, based in Odessa and Midland, Texas. You can reach us at (432) 301-9327 or through the form on the contact page.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us and what a web server records by itself.
- Contact form and phone. When you send the contact form or call us, we receive the details you provide: your name, business name, phone number, email address and your message.
- Server logs. Like every website, our server records the address of the device that requested a page, the page requested, the time, and the browser used. We use these records to keep the site running and secure.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes the data on Google's servers under Google's privacy policy. We do not use it for advertising and we do not see who you are.
Apart from Google Analytics, this website sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own server, not a third party.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry and talk with you about your project.
- To keep the website running, secure and available.
- To see which pages are read, so we can improve the site.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with you if you become a client.
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone for marketing. We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
Where it is kept
Form submissions are emailed to the business mailbox of Basin Hosting & Web Design and are not stored on the web server. We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the life of the working relationship and the record-keeping that follows it.
Links to other sites
If this site links to an outside website, that site has its own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Your choices
- You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (432) 301-9327 or send the form on the contact page and we will respond.
- You can contact us by phone instead of the form if you prefer not to submit anything online.
Children
This website is for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes, such as adding a third-party form service, will be described on this page.
